What does a UEFN developer actually do?
A UEFN developer engineers playable experiences inside Fortnite using Epic's professional creator toolchain. Day to day that means writing custom Verse code, wiring devices, building and optimising levels, hitting performance budgets, fixing bugs and shipping updates after launch.
How do I hire a UEFN developer or studio?

From there we work in three brackets: Spark from £5k for a focused map setup, custom modelling, environment design or a cinematic by professional animators; Signature from £15–30k for a properly designed branded island with original mechanics; Flagship from £30–80k+ for tentpole activations with bespoke art, custom Verse, live ops and launch support. How long does a UEFN build take?
Spark projects can ship in 2–4 weeks. Signature islands run 6–10 weeks end to end. Flagship activations are 12–18 weeks including discovery, production, QA and submission. Quick-turn briefs are welcome — say the deadline up front and we'll be honest about what's possible.
Do you publish under your Epic creator account or ours?
Either. Most brands prefer their own verified creator account so the audience, analytics and long-term equity stay with them. We'll set that up if it doesn't exist yet.
